Story about my holiday (Tugas Softskill Bahasa Inggris Bisnis 2)

Hi everyone

Let me tell you a story about my holiday, so please take a seat and read my story.

This is me on mount bromo, i went to malang with a couple of my friends, and we are just having fun like the other people did on their holiday. first thing first before we decided to go to malang we were discussing about our destination, either going to Jogja, Malang, or even Bali, and when the vote is gathered we are all agreed that we will going to Malang. On the first day in Malang we decided to go to "Museum Angkut" where you can find all you need to please yourself to take a photo with tons of antique things, like an old car, motorcycle, bicycle, or even becak, and there is a festival on "Museum Angkut" everyday on 5pm, you can see some people wear an unique dress like batman and such a thing, so dont miss it. On the next day we were going to some beach its called "Pantai tiga warna" it is so relaxing and beautiful at the same time, can you imagine that? where you can find a place like that? Correct only in malang, but we have to walk for 20/30 mins before we reached out the beach, there will be a guide for you who's first coming to that place, so you'll not be lost, one thing that i really like about "Pantai tiga warna" is they care about their environment, they'll count every single thing that you bring that probably could be a trash, and if you are not aware with what you bring, youll be fined. And the last thing that i can share to you is Mount Bromo itself, its such a great great thing that God gives for us,btw it is not so hard to get to the top of the Mount Bromo, because there's a stairs that'll bring you up there. And there's a myth about Mount Bromo, you can never have the exact same stairs when you go to the top of the Mount bromo, and when you go down to the park area. Uhm i think thats what it is, and i hope you like it.

At last but not least, goodbye!

Tugas Meeting 5-8 Softskill Bahasa Inggris Bisnis

4KA16 (MEETING 5-8)
(30/4/2019)

Affirmative Agreement

When indicating that one person pr thing does something and then adding that another does the same. Use the word so or too. To avoid needless repetition of words from the affirmative statement, use the conjunction and followed by a simple statement using so or too. The order of this statement will depend on whether so or too is used.

When a form of the verb be is used in the main clause, the same tense of the verb be is used in the simple statement that follows.
affirmative statement (be) + and + subject + verb (be) + too

so + verb (be) + subject

e.g. I am happy. You are happy

– I am happy and you are too

– I am happy and so are you

When a compound verb (auxiliary + verb), for example, will go, should do, has done, have written, must examine, etc. occurs in the main clause, the auxiliary of the main verb is used in the simple statement, and the subject and verb must agree.
Affirmative statement + and + subject + auxiliary only + too

so + auxiliary only + subject

e.g. They will work in the lab tomorrow. You will work in the lab tomorrow.

– They will work in the lab tomorrow and you will too

– They will work in the lab tomorrow and so will you

When any verb except be appears without any auxiliaries in the main clause, the auxiliary do, does, or did is used in simple statement. The subject and verb must agree and the tense must be the same.
Affirmative statement + and + subject + do, does, or did + too

(single verb except be)          so + do, does, or did + subject

e.g. Jane goes to that school. My sister goes to school

– Jane goes to school and my sister does too

– Jane goes to school and so does my sister

Negative Agreement

Either and Neither function in simple statements much like so and too in affirmative sentences. However, either and neither are used to indicate negative agreement. The same rules for auxiliaries, be and do, does, or did apply.

Negative statement + and + subject + negative auxiliary or be + either

neither + positive auxiliary + subject

e.g. I didn’t see Mary this morning. John didn’t see Mary this morning.

– I didn’t see Mary this morning and John didn’t either

– I didn’t see Mary this morning and neither did John

She hasn’t seen the movie yet. I haven’t seen the movie yet.

– she hasn’t seen the movie yet and I haven’t either

– she hasn’t seen the movie yet and neither have .
